The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum will honor the best in baseball Saturday at the ninth annual Legacy Awards.
Phillies slugger Ryan Howard, Indians pitcher Cliff Lee and Blue Jays manager Cito Gaston are all honorees scheduled to attend. Broadcaster Roy Firestone will emcee.
Other notables expected to be there include Jim “Mudcat” Grant, Harold Reynolds, Willie Wilson, Rick Sutcliffe and George Altman. Outgoing Kansas State president Jon Wefald will accept the Buck O’Neil Award, presented by football coach Bill Snyder.
